Before CA Aesthetics [CA Aesthetics is my own cosmetic teeth whitening practice], I had certificates collecting dust while delivering Evri parcels [Yes, in my Niqab] — not because I lacked ability, but because nobody had taught me how to turn a skill into a business people actually trusted and booked consistently.
I had a background in psychology and corporate sales, but beauty was different. Beauty is emotional. It is identity, confidence, trust, insecurity, vulnerability. Most beauticians genuinely want to help people, not “sell” to them.
And that is where most people -including myself- get stuck.
Because the hardest part was never the treatment itself. It was the part after:
➤ the consultations that went nowhere,
➤ the “I’ll think about it” messages,
➤ undercharging,
➤ overthinking,
➤ watching equally qualified people somehow attract clients effortlessly while you wonder what you are missing.
I became so frustrated that I stopped taking clients altogether and went back to delivering parcels for pennies, but the pain of knowing that I could make my entire daily wage in a single hour when people truly trusted what I was offering kept nagging at me.
So I stopped waiting to feel ready and started studying why some people get booked and others don't.
That sent me back to the drawing board — and into the research.
I completed certifications through Harvard, Yale, and Google in behavioural science, consumer psychology, and the psychology of negotiation. Then I built GLOW™. And then I built CA Academy.
Now I am the only 5x accredited cosmetic teeth whitening specialist in the UK — so what I teach you isn't one school of thought. It's the best of every programme I've completed, distilled into one.
This is not surface level sales advice. It is academic research applied to the beauty industry for the first time.
